Learn To Skate At CDA On Ice
Here at CDA On Ice, we love seeing all skill levels having fun out on the rink! Whether you’re a semi-pro figure skater or a first time visitor, we want your experience to be magical!
We’ve taken countless measures to bring this magic to our rink in Coeur d’Alene. Guests can rent one of our three cozy igloos or enjoy a cup of loaded hot cocoa from the snack shack. They can take advantage of photo-ops under the twinkle lights or around the fire pits. And everyone wants to experience the DJ Booth and fun LED lights embedded in the ice! There’s no doubt your experience at the rink will be memorable.
Perhaps that first memory will be learning to ice skate! We have walkers available for rent at the Skate Shed. These are super helpful for first time skaters. But if you’re looking for a more integrated experience, CDA On Ice actually offers skate lessons!
This season, we’ve partnered with our friends over at Lake City Figure Skating to offer ice skating lessons at the rink! Lake City Figure Skating is a member of Learn to Skate USA. Their curriculum is endorsed by US Figure Skating, USA Hockey & US Speedskating. Whether you’ve never skated before, or you just want to turn up your skill level, working with LCFS is a great opportunity to improve your skating skills!
Lessons are for anyone 2.5 years old-adult who are looking to learn and develop the skill of skating. Lessons are 30 minutes with 30 minutes of practice time immediately following. Sessions are six weeks long on either Thursdays or Saturdays and the fees include skate rentals. More information on session dates can be found here.
