Get Cozy At CDA On Ice
Wintertime in Coeur d’Alene couldn’t be more picturesque. The snow capped mountains and pines surrounding the lake impress any time of the day or night. One of the best places to enjoy the beautiful view is Coeur d’Alene’s new pop-up seasonal ice rink, CDA On Ice.
The rink offers skate sessions daily during their season. They’re even open on all the holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years! Aside from the many special events hosted at the rink, there are a few standing benefits you can’t afford to miss.
Cozy Igloos For Rent
One of the biggest hits during the opening season has been the three igloos available for rent right next to the rink. Two 8-person igloos and one 10-person igloo are styled beautifully with cozy seating, twinkling lights, mini fireplace heaters, and soft fur pillows. It’s a great way to cozy up with family or friends in your own space at the rink. You can keep the whole family warm or make it a romantic party just for two! We’ve even had a marriage proposal take place in one!
Reserving an igloo is a great way to add to your skating experience. The igloo rental sessions coincide with the 90 minute skate sessions (skate rental sessions sold separately). Loaded hot cocoa passes are included for both the 8 and 10 person igloos, respectively. You are not required to fill the igloo. You can bring less people, just not more than max capacity.
Want to stick around longer? You can even book two sessions! We kindly ask that you do not bring any outside food or drink, but you’re welcome to bring a deck of cards or some cozy blankets - wwe want the evening to be special for you!
Stay Warm & Toasty
Another way to stay warm at the rink is next to one of our open fire pits. You can stand right by them to avoid the cold and they both have a fantastic view of the rink so you can watch your loved ones enjoy the ice. Right behind the fire pits is the snack shack, where you can purchase the rink’s famous Loaded Hot Cocoa or a tasty bag of popcorn! The Wake Up Call Double Decker Bus is also on site selling coffees and teas to warm you from the inside out!
